The second day of the international exhibitions in the food industry and the horeca sector started very positively for all the guests of MEATMANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK,SALON DE VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and SIHRE. Inter Expo Center's central foyer gathered many children at the specially organized "Grow up healthy and strong" Tasting Show.
"Grow up healthy and strong" Tasting Show is organized in the framework of the program of the Union for Promotion of Consumer Culture by member companies of the Union of Processors of Fruits and Vegetables. The objective of the event is to introduce and promote the quality of Bulgarian preserved fruits and vegetables among teenagers. Children are future consumers and it is important for small children to make an informed choice, comment the organizers.
"It is also essential that their accompanying adults should be convinced of the benefits, nutritional value and qualities of canned fruits and vegetables produced in Bulgaria. “This will motivate their choice when they shop, and will be an example for the children”, as was definitely cleared by the Union of Fruit and Vegetables Processors.
Among the children today we can identify the future specialists. From their entrepreneurial and professional orientation depends the development of the sector. Last but not least, the idea is to cultivate the taste of the adolescents, and to shape an understanding of proper nutrition.
