MELKO have been making flour for nearly 50 years. We have three mills based in Sliven (Melnitza Sliven AD), Varna (Melnitza Varna AD) and Cherven Bryag( Golyama Melnitza Cherven Bryag AD). The total capacity of the mills is 120 thousand tons of wheat, and the productivity is 900 tons per day.

We pride ourselves on long milling expertise to produce flours of the highest quality and consistency. All of our three mills are equipped with the very latest in 21st century advances, such as computerised flour blending to particle size control which is combined with milling skills to produce top grade flours. We produce a complete range of flours to suit every type of business from the largest industrial food manufacturers to the small artisan bakers. We deal with  the main retailers in  Bulgaria, and а lot of the main wholesalers. Our flours are sold in bulk tankers of 25 tonnes and in pack sizes from 25kg down to 1kg.

We make a full range of high quality flours with superior baking qualities for a full wide range of finished products such as bread, , pizza, arabic bread, wafer,bagels, artisan sourdoughs, as well as self-raising and culinary flours. Some of our products are brand leaders in the flour market and many are used to make brand leader baked goods.
