The story of GUSTO FOODS begins in the three-river city of Passau, located on the German-Austrian border, after brothers Eddie and Valentino discovered their love for cooking in 2005, when they started working in a famous Italian Osteria. In 2014, they opened a small family restaurant to live their dream.
Chef Eddie has always shared his passion for Mediterranean cuisine and high-quality products. Whether it’s a handmade pizza, fresh pasta or homemade dessert – excellent taste has always been a priority for the family. “Good and traditional cuisine is not a fashion trend, but a matter of quality and dedication,” he emphasizes. Although the restaurant also offers takeaway, customers often asked about traditional homemade Italian sauces and handmade pizzas. That’s how the idea for the production itself was born.
“In 2019, we visited our homeland and discovered a small family factory. Since then, our homemade sauces and pizzas have been produced there, according to the strictest criteria. We strongly believe that quantity cannot be saved at the expense of quality. Because GUSTO not only means taste, but also high-quality products that are produced without added preservatives,” they add.
Since 2021, our high-quality products have been available in boutique stores, mainly in Austria and Germany.
