Passion, love, professional field, magic. Regardless of what Her Majesty – Pizza is to you, save the dates for November 12 and 13! Because during these days, the International Pizza Championship will be held for the 8th time at Inter Expo Center!
This will happen within the framework of the International Food Exhibitions and its accompanying program, which in turn turn Sofia and Bulgaria into key destinations for anyone with a business and personal interest in the food and beverage sector in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
But let’s get back to the 8th International Pizza Championship! Organized by the Bulgarian Association Pizzaioli (you can find more about it HERE), it puts our country on the map with the most important events not only in Europe, but also in the world!
“The competition gives you the opportunity to show your skills in front of a prestigious international jury, to compete with the best pizza chefs from Bulgaria and the world, to exchange experience, ideas and inspiration. And to fight for titles, cups and recognition that open doors to the world stages in Las Vegas and Italy,” share the organizers.
We should note – the competitors will be evaluated by an international jury, which we will tell you about very soon.

The competition starts on November 12. On this day, participants will register. They will also receive various accessories that they will need the next day. Want to participate? Find out how – HERE.

November 13 will be a day filled with action. At its very beginning is the last opportunity to register. And then… top chefs from Italy, Romania, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, the Republic of North Macedonia and other countries take to the stage.
From 10:00 to 18:00, the long marathon will take place in the categories Classica, Contemporanea, Romana in pala, pGluten-free, Pizza in due, Black box, Acrobatica.
In the name of goodness
But the Bulgarian Association Pizzaioli does not end there. The inspirers from the Bulgarian association will make us empathize with good causes for another year.
On November 14 and 15, the top pizza chefs will embark on the charity event “Children Helping Children”. Each participant will make their contribution to a charitable cause.
