Each machine has to “talk” with all other machines and everyone else in a company . This was one of the conclusions made during the seminar “On the Road to Industry 4.0”, which is part of the accompanying program within the exhibition MEATMANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, SALON DE VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK & SIHRE,held from 8th to 11th of November at Inter Expo Center.
Organized by CBS-System Bulgaria EOOD, the seminar presented the characteristics of the fourth industrial revolution, known as the Internet of Things and its manifestation in the industry known as the Industrial Internet of Things.
“For example, for Industry 4.0. in the food industry, data can flow along the “producer-user” chain much faster, “the presenters explained. According to the information, there are four steps to be taken in respect of Industry 4.0 that are currently being implemented in our country: electronic data exchange, automatic data capture of machines, barcode labeling and scanning, and mobile solutions.
The extensive accompanying program of the exhibitions recognized as the biggest business event for the year in Sofia will also continue in the next days of the forum.
During the large-scale event, more than 450 companies present both numerous products and diverse innovations of the highest level. This year Inter Expo Center welcomed over 150 new exhibitors and 80 foreign participants.
The exhibition doors will be open to guests from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, and on 11 November – until 16.00.
