Italy is increasing its traditionally strong participation at the Interfood & Drink international food exhibition, which will be held from 7 to 10 November at the Inter Expo Center.
Italy is one of Bulgaria's main trading partners, and imports of food products from Italy are constantly on the rise. The Bulgarian consumer has always shown remarkable receptivity to the specialties and products typical of the Italian cuisine and constant interest in the novelties on the Bulgarian market.
Fourty exhibitors from Italy will present at this year's edition of Interfood & Drink There are olive oil, pasta, sauce and tin food, dairy products and cheese, spices, salt, coffee, wine and liqueur producers among the Italian participants. Furthermore, in order to expand the business opportunities, the Italian Trade and Investment Agency (ICE-Agenzia) also organized a visit of more than 15 buyers from Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary and Turkey.
ICE-Agenzia is a partner of Inter Expo Center and has organized the collective participation of Italian companies on occasion of the 17th edition of the Interfood & Dink international exhibition for yet another year in a row. This is happening within Piano Export Sud II, a program in support of small and medium-sized enterprises in Southern Italy. The collective participation is intended for companies from the following regions: Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Apulia and Sicily.
