In this rising Catalan appellation, we work with old vines and native varieties, focusing on cement aging and minimal intervention. Our work has helped elevate the profile of Terra Alta, setting a               benchmark for quality now followed by many in the Appellation.

• – Estate Wines Bobal  at 1000m Altitude in a Natural Park Reserve

At 1,000 meters above sea level, amidst the rugged beauty of this natural park close to Madrid, we cultivate 45-60-year-old Bobal vines organically. From this unique terroir, we craft bold yet elegant expressions of Bobal red, Blanc de Noir, and a delicately pale rosé—all certified organic.

Our winery dates back to 1929 and for the last 20 years we’ve specialized exclusively in Reserva Cava, producing elegant sparkling wines with exceptional value and finesse made out of just our native varieties. Our cavas consistently earn praise in the trade press for their quality-to-price ratio, making them a standout in the competitive sparkling wine market, specially since we only produce RESERVA – GUARDA SUPERIOR.
